ARTICLE III MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Section
1A
An agency or organization making application to the North Carolina Search and Rescue Advisory Council must be evaluated on the following criteria:
· Current roster of membership.
· Current Worker's Compensation Certificate for all members.
· By-Laws and Standard Operating Guidelines on file with the council.
· Agency or Organization Training Records made available to membership committee.
· Adoption of NC SAR Advisory Council Training Standard.
· Request a review of application and documentation by regional membership committee.
· Request a review of application and documentation by a regional membership committee representative within three months of application date.
· Proof of Liability Insurance.

1B
The membership committee will make a recommendation to the North Carolina SAR Advisory Council for approval or disapproval of team membership within six months of the application date.
Section
1C
The NCSAR Advisory Council upon approval will place the applicant on the agenda for the next scheduled meeting for acceptance to the council. After approval, the team will have the ability to vote and participate in all North Carolina SAR Advisory Council activities.

Elections

F- All teams voting in the election must have been evaluated by a membership committee member and approved by the North Carolina Search and Rescue Advisory Council before voting.
